I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a proven background as a clinical practitioner. I completed a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University in 1979. My formal education and training coupled with many years of hands-on experiences have driven my practice skills. I have worked in many areas of social work, as well as working with different populations. Since 2009, my primary focus has been working with the diverse elderly population in managed care and long-term care settings.
I treat my interactions with each person I treat like a partnership where I work collaboratively with you to establish and implement a plan of care that meets your psychosocial needs. I am an active listener and provide you the opportunity to speak in a non- judgmental space.
