We provide equine-assisted psychotherapy utilizing a team approach, consisting of a licensed therapist, an equine specialist and horse(s). This approach is based on the belief that clients have the ability to find the best solutions for themselves when given the opportunity to discover them. The horse is an ideal therapy partner due to its exceptional capacity to read and respond to non-verbal cues. Clients are able to observe their thoughts, feelings and behaviors and the impact on self and others. They can then explore, problem-solve and overcome challenges in the arena which translate into positive changes outside of the arena.
