I advocate for students regarding special education services and Section 504 accommodations. I provide evaluations to college and graduate students to document disabilities for accommodations. I serve as a Board member of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. I co-chair the Public Policy committee and am on the Professional Advisory Board. CHADD is the largest international organization dedicated to AD/HD.

I'm Tammy Reade, a licensed professional counselor, having earned my degree from George Mason University in 2020. My path to counseling has been shaped by my personal journey, spanning over 25 years in the field. My diverse experience encompasses working with adults, couples, adolescents, and children. I've held roles such as a child protection worker, juvenile probation officer, advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, foster parent trainer, and jail therapist. Yet, my most meaningful role has been as an adoptive and foster parent for more than 22 years.

My approach is person-centered, solution-focused, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral to help empower and motivate change in clients and their families. I strive to help adults using a non-judgmental and supportive approach. My focus is on helping you better understand the relationship between your thoughts and feelings.
