I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in VA, TX, and MA and earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from American International College in Springfield Massachusetts. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years in addiction rehabs, county and city jails, crisis stabilization units, and outpatient services. I use a wide variety of therapeutic approaches that are based on the individual needs of the client. I am also able to supervise residents in counseling.

Accepting new clients: Adults only. With over 40 years of counseling experience in working with all types of clients and problems I enjoy helping clients uncover positive tools for important changes in their lives. I believe therapy can make a huge difference in people's lives and enhance their overall health and well-being. I believe in a strong mind-body connection and that much of what ails us can not be medicated away. I see clients in individual therapy and Telehealth only.

I have a doctorate degree in marriage and family therapy from Virginia Tech and specialize in treating youth and their families dealing with difficult issues including self-harming behaviors and other debilitating symptoms or issues. I have 15 years of experience and have provided services in many capacities including inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric triage, substance abuse treatment, and medical family therapy. I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), medical family therapy, and intensive evidence-based treatments. I am laid back and provide a down to earth, yet no-nonsense approach to therapy and look forward to speaking with you!
