Nina Cassada, PH.D., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing outpatient therapy in Virginia and Georgia. She serves as an adjunct faculty to Southern New Hampshire University in the human services department. Dr. Cassada uses several evidence based techniques to address client needs. Dr. Cassada has a focused practice addressing: mood disorders, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma related disorders, and emotional distress.

Bryan Hunsley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has 5 years experience working alongside children, adolescents, adults, and couples who are seeking help with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse, and crisis intervention.

The goal of every client who comes to treatment is to resolve the existing crisis or trauma, manage anxiety, reduce depressive and other symptoms, and return to a state of being that better reflects their optimal functioning. Clients who come to therapy are arguably the best suited to tell us what their needs are and where the gap exists between their needs and goals for their best life. Living with grief, loss, anxiety, PTSD, psych ache, relationship distress, trauma (including racial trauma), rejection, and mood disorders takes a toll, not only on everyday functioning but also on self-esteem, self-efficacy and self-care.

What does your picture look like? I firmly believe that we all have our own levels of success and happiness and sometime need assistance reaching that place in our lives. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 16 years of experience working with individuals in various settings to include outpatient care, residential homes, hospice, and jails. I am no stranger to seeing the impact of trauma, addiction, depression, grief, and difficulty due to adjusting to stages of life. I am aware of how hard it is for you to face these issues alone! Lora "Leanne" Dudley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has over 10 years of experience in providing clinical assessment and therapeutic care to adults and couples seeking assistance with depression/anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and post-traumatic stress. Leanne completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Radford University.

Jeanie completed her Master's in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.

Christel Hammett is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with children from early childhood to adolescence and their families. She specializes in treating adjustment disorders, anxiety, attachment, autism spectrum-related issues, depression, low self-esteem, chronic stress, trauma, and more. She has her Bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

Genevieve is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the treatment of symptoms of developmental trauma disorders, PTSD, ADD & ADHD, anxiety & mood disorders, and addiction using neurofeedback and psychotherapy along with other biofeedback modalities that can help a person achieve emotional regulation. Additionally, she works with individuals seeking peak performance and students experiencing test anxiety. She specializes in Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology.

I have had the opportunity of providing counseling to the Lynchburg and surrounding areas since 2017. Through helping individuals from 3 years to 89 years old, I have experience in assisting those as they navigate through the various stages of life. I believe in using a multi-faceted approach to therapy, as each individual is unique and allow the treatment to be client focused and not restricted for better client outcomes. While I am trained in a variety of mental health needs, I have the strongest proficiency in assisting those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues, and relationship conflicts.
