Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have been practicing since 2014. I have a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Radford University (1992), Master of Arts in Education from Norfolk State University (1997), and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University (2015). I was a high school teacher for 21 years teaching students with special needs before beginning my career in clinical counseling.

Each of us come with a unique set of life experiences. My hope is to provide you with a space to explore the impact of these life experiences and the role they play in your individual and relational functioning! My professional experience is reflected in a variety of settings including trauma-work, depression, anxiety, life transitions, attachment, pre-marital counseling, marriage counseling, and family counseling. If there is one thing you should know about what I believe it’s this: context matters! It matters because it provides meaning to the social, cultural, and environmental factors that influence the life of every human.

Sometimes we as people just get stuck. When you're a child or adolescent, that may look like anxiety, overwhelm, aggression, isolation, and more. However, we also have the hope and possibility to be unstuck, we just may need some new tools to get there - that's where counseling comes in. Healing and growth and wellness are all possible and worth working for, and asking for help is sometimes the first step.

I provide care for children, adolescents, adults and families, many of whom need help with anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, trauma, PTSD, grief, ADHD, family issues, and coping with disease and disability.

My passion is for helping others feel and live their very best. Mark DeYoung is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty-five years experience counseling and helping families and children. He currently provides Telehealth counseling services for families in Texas, Arizona and Florida. His private practice includes work with marriages, parents, teens, young children, foster children, adoptive families, and individual adult clients. Dr. DeYoung is an award-winning author of the book Revolutionary Marriage - How to Have a Marriage that Changes the World. He has presented his marriage conference internationally.

Hi, I'm David. I specialize in helping teenagers, college students, and young adults/professionals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, relationship issues, and life and career transitions. I am also passionate about helping athletes in developing effective performance mindsets and personal resilience. Additionally, I work with men's issues. Together, we will uncover the strength within you and achieve the goals you set in place.

As a trans, queer, and neurodivergent individual, I understand how difficult it is to navigate challenges related to gender, sexuality, and identity in general. I am passionate about serving anyone who may have been marginalized for who they are and how they exist in the world. I am skilled in issues related to LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly those with a background of spiritual or religious trauma. I also have experience in supporting the development of gender diversity, neurodiversity, non-monogamy, and BDSM. I hope to support and advocate for my clients as we work to create spaces that are more inclusive and welcoming to all.

He has clinical experience providing individual, group, and family counseling and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, anger management issues, substance abuse, and ASD. He enjoys connecting with families through their strengths and stories to facilitate individual and family growth. Clinically, he utilizes a Feminist-Ecological framework by addressing and understanding the need to examine human existence on multiple levels while cultivating social and racial justice and social change. He incorporates CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused perspectives.

I specialize in anxiety, ADHD and helping parents navigate their child's developmental diagnosis. I love learning about neurobiology and the effects that stress has on the brain. A client can expect to encounter a warm, compassionate, and encouraging soul who has a dry sense of humor and tends to address problems in a straightforward manner. I practice CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), TF-CBT (trauma-focused CBT), ABA (applied behavioral analysis), solution-focused therapy, and structural and strategic family therapy.
