My counseling theories most often practiced include solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, family systems, and client-centered. However, techniques used are drawn from different counseling perspectives in order to meet the clients' individual needs and strengths. Hi there, I'm Twaina Carpenter. My approach to counseling is to actively listen in order to connect with each person on a personal level to get to know them and create a safe space for them to share their dis-ease. Teleios Behavioral Health is a growing behavioral health practice for children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Walker has been in private practice in Virginia since 2011.
