As a former Jungian/Depth-oriented therapist with over 20 years of experience and now as a depth life coach I carry a big toolkit for transformation with a focus on becoming.
Dreaming big and aspiring to greater heights can be daunting. Many settle for what is, rather than daring to dream of what could be. In stories, heroes and heroines often have a guide to help them navigate their quests— to help reach the end of the yellow brick road, or seize the day. Think of me as your Sherpa, a trusted companion who knows the shortcuts and the pathways, and even how to dodge those proverbial flying monkeys and other obstacles that whisper, "It's impossible." I empower my clients and show them what they can do – instead of focusing on what they cannot do. I am here to support you on your journey of becoming.

I work mainly from a Jungian and transpersonal perspective and I provide affirming therapy for people experiencing faith transitions, who are exploring spirituality outside of organized religion, are childfree, or single by choice.
Appointments available next week. I believe that a caring and genuine therapeutic relationship can help people to live a more meaningful, joyful, and productive life. Therapy provides a non-judgmental space in which to explore ways of navigating life’s stresses and challenges, find freedom from depression and anxiety, and connect more deeply with oneself. My approach is person-centered, gentle, direct, and practical, with an emphasis on finding hope and meaning even in the midst of suffering. I strive to create a safe space in which clients can address any difficulties they are experiencing and connect to their inner strength.

Although I believe that the goals of therapy are always first and foremost determined by my clients, I generally hold the hope for each of them that they will find more joy in life. To that end, I believe in an eclectic theoretical approach, one that draws on a wide range of perspectives including humanist/existential philosophy, Jungian psychodynamics, trauma-informed and client-centered practice, because I believe people are eclectic. Because I have both personal and professional experience with this work, I view the relationship between client and therapist as central and fundamental to the therapeutic process being effective.

Formal techniques including CBT, EFT, Jungian shadow work (trauma), integral psychology and mindfulness can be helpful additions to an overall relationship-based interpersonal collaboration.
Navigating the world isn't as straight forward as it used to be. Information is cheap and social currency has changed. Anxiety, Depression and Addiction have become accepted states. If you feel stuck on autopilot and would rather experience internal freedom, seeing a qualified professional might be well worth it. Clients who want to learn how to navigate their internal and external worlds from new perspectives and even change beliefs through emotional connection are welcome. Nothing is more rewarding than watching someone learn to care about themselves and navigate life effectively. You can do more than you think you can.

I am trained in EMDR, ART, Theraplay, TF-CBT, Jungian/experiential therapy, and other modalities meaning I have training in trauma, family work, attachment, and more.
In life, difficult situations occur. These experiences can make us anxious, question ourselves and our self-worth, and affect our ability to connect with others and plan for the future we desire. Through EMDR, ART, and a mix of other empirically based modalities, it is possible to heal from past trauma, feel more empowered, and increase life satisfaction generally. I have been in the field for twenty years and a therapist for thirteen. I have also been an administrator, supervisor, and trainer for therapists. During that time, I have come to appreciate how change is possible in our lives and in our relationships with others.

I use methods including mindfulness, Somatic EMDR, Jungian psychology, trauma-informed care, IFS/parts work, and attachment-based therapies to facilitate this discovery and healing process.
My practice is about creating and enhancing a meaningful life. Through a belief that our disturbances--about ourselves, others or life in general - lead us to the doorway of wholeness, we work together to unfold and recognize that essence.

We all have strengths and skills. Sometimes we have tried everything and are out of ideas. If we knew a better way, we would use it! Sometimes we face challenges we could not anticipate or prepare for. The stress we deal with, the depression or anxiety we feel, can interfere with our relationships or functioning and become an obstacle to the life we want. Understanding how our past shapes our present can help us create a more hopeful, satisfying future. If your challenges have brought you to the point where you are ready for additional support, I’d like to help you increase your tool box and reconnect with your own resilience.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.
How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.
Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.
Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
