My background before becoming a therapist involved healing modalities for the mind, body and soul. Knowing how powerful working with the whole person can be, I directed my studies to understand how traditional therapy could interact with the brain and body and heal relationships through connective communication. I work well with individuals of all ages hoping to address emotional wounding, mental health struggles, sexual abuse, faith transitions and other trauma. I thrive working with couples who want to collaborate on healing their relationship, addressing wounds, and building communication. My practice is LGBTQIA?2S friendly.

When we find ourselves in a whirlwind, losing our sense of direction, it can be disorienting. We may lose connection to the part of us that knows what to do and where to go. We may be losing the battle with relentless looping thoughts, struggling to prioritize our own needs while being in relationship to others, and/or lacking the empowerment to make lasting change. There may be parts of our story that we would like to disown. Losing trust in ourselves, we become disconnected from our heart, confused by our own minds, and afraid to face what is next in life.

I approach therapy with an open mind. We all bring different strengths and experiences to the table. My approach is to help you integrate those strengths, while learning new one's to help make the change you want to see if your life. That's why I feel honored to hold space with my clients while coming together to grow. I'm an ally for LGBTQ community members.
