Life doesn't always turn out how we envisioned, and Kelly brings personal experience and clinical training to each session to help you find hope again. Kelly is also a life coach- "Finding Yourself After 40," and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is a sister therapy to EMDR that treats trauma. She uses an eclectic blend of modalities including psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, and solution-focused brief therapy. Kelly is also certified in SYMBIS for pre-marital counseling and is currently finishing training with the Gottman Institute. She truly loves this work and feels a deep respect for the clients she works with.

I believe that people are strong and have the ability and resiliency to do incredible things. Life is full of challenges that can be difficult to overcome. It is my desire to help individuals find or renew their own strengths to overcome any challenge that they may face. Life doesn't get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient as we overcome the challenges we face. My therapeutic approach to mental health treatment is that every individual is deserving of respect and having a strong sense of self-worth. Everyone deserves a happy and meaningful life.

I love helping a person become their best version of themselves. Most people seeking counseling feel defeated. My strategies help them find hope and to develop new approaches to help them become powerful people with tangible and deep changes in how they feel and in their beliefs about themselves so that they are living lives of joy and fulfillment. Ideally a client is ready to try new approaches to their life, is ready to get out of the constant cycle of overthinking, and is ready to take a journey deep inside where they can heal emotionally and physically, and emerge ready to truly LIVE.

I want to help clients reconnect; connect not only with their partners and family members, but more importantly with themselves. This comes from healing attachment injuries, improving communication, defining and earning trust. These new found skills help you live an authentic life. I believe in the healing power of relationships, and I work with clients to develop and improve those relationships so that they can provide support, connection, compassion, and safety as they struggle to overcome life challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other struggles.

My aim in working with individuals is to create an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment using empathy, compassion, and authenticity. I offer a flexible, client-centered approach to therapy. This means that I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process where client and therapist work together to develop goals and objectives for therapy and explore the best ways to go about it. I have experience working with individuals facing a range of challenges including but not limited to trauma (PTSD/CPSTD), self-acceptance, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism).

She has supported women and families through various aspects of care, including adoptions, surrogate births, infant loss, perinatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, and antenatal hospitalizations. Marsha recently obtained her Perinatal Mental Health Certification and is EMDR trained.

Individuals constantly strive to fulfill basic psychological and emotional needs including self-worth, love and belonging, security, freedom, & others. Attempts to satisfy these needs may result in a loss of control and feelings of powerlessness. Life’s challenges can influence individuals to become “tunnel visioned” that hinders one to see options to fulfill needs. Furthermore, this can result in giving up control rather than increasing emotional stability, self-confidence, and attainment of goals. Having positive and sufficient options to meet needs increases hope, motivation, and a sense of purpose and meaning.

I am a LCSW dedicated to helping teens and adults improve their overall wellness. My clients will address and reprocess past trauma in learning to regulate emotions and adjust limiting thoughts and beliefs. Working together, we will implement good social, emotional, and behavioral habits to help you reach personal wellbeing goals. Have you been feeling 'stuck' or have experienced any situation in which you cannot get passed? Has something happened to you that you don't feel comfortable talking with your loved ones about? Don't think that therapy is for you or want to talk to a stranger about your personal problems. Now is the time.

I believe in therapy! That is why I have worked with people for more than forty years and have many satisfied clients. You can have a great life no matter the issues and feelings you currently have. This possibility may be hard to imagine now, but that is what I help you do. My job is to help you clarify what you want and then to achieve this. Under stress we can all become confused about what path to take, but this is what you come to therapy to discover. With encouragement and support, you can learn to trust your path and solve whatever your current problems are. I work with women, men and couples who want to feel better.

For those of you burdened by Infidelity—I see you. I won’t downplay the difficulty you are facing. Infidelity is one of life’s hardest challenges but it is far from hopeless! Betrayal crushes your self-worth and sense of security. You look at the past trying to make sense of what happened, and you grieve the future that you hoped you’d have. Right now, you’re overwhelmed with negative beliefs that you’re not good enough, or unloveable. You have ruminating thoughts and don’t know how to get rid of them. I know the path that you’re on and know how to be your guide.

Shame is considered a universal emotion. At some point in life, we've all felt like we're not good enough, we'll never measure up, or we're undeserving of love. Despite the unversality of shame, we loath talking about it. Why? - Because it'd force us to acknowledge our shame, to shed light on the painful stories we tell ourselves. I believe, however, that talking about shame is one of the best ways to heal from it. Shame requires light and air and in the right environment- an environment of non judgement, safety, and trust- speaking shame can pave the way towards greater self-love and resilience.

Jerry grew up in Northern South Dakota watching the Missouri River flow by. He joined a federal wildland fire crew and worked on municipal ambulances. He has since lived in five states and now calls Ogden home. "I have found great healing in embodiment work." Using movement based healing reconnects us with our intuition and unlocks trauma stored in our body. “As a therapist I am not afraid to walk through the hell of your wounds of fear, shame, and guilt because underneath all this there is an amazing authentic, wise, self.” Many of us swim in anxiety, the real confusion often comes in when you feel calmness for the first time.

Life is an interesting mixture of both ups and downs. Having the courage to ask for help with difficult situations should not be an unpleasant process in and of itself. The process of learning and growing should be filled with encouragement and increased happiness, even when discussing difficult topics. In my 25+ years of experience, I have helped people with a variety of obstacles including, marital/couples strife, parent/child conflict, adoption and attachment issues, grief and trauma related difficulties, substance use problems, child/adolescent behavioral issues, school/educational planning, and mental health diagnoses.
