Hi! I'm Corey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, hoping to join you in overcoming life’s challenges. I have thirteen years of experience working with teens and adults in a variety of inpatient, medical, and behavioral health settings experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, Trauma, and much more. I utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma informed methods in therapy. I am dedicated to providing my clients with a safe place that they can feel validated and empowered.

In the counseling field I'm not sure if there is an "ideal client," However, I do believe there is an ideal therapist for every client. So, the question is, am I the ideal therapist for you? I have worked with many issues; however, have found that my specialties are in the areas of trauma (PTSD), personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, addictions and eating disorders. The "fix you;" therapy is not something I do, as there is no "fixing" to be done. I will help you to identify: needs and goals, internal healing, and that all important balance that you seek. Don't be deceived by the name, Quality Youth Services group works with all ages and need level. The client that is the best fit is one who is motivated to make personal life changes, family restructuring change or who may be ordered to complete counseling for court/work obligations. Youth who meet the criteria for NOJOS work (sexual reactive/active) levels 1-4. Three offices to meet your need located along the Wasatch Front. We offer Telehealth to new and existing clients on a HIPPA compliant platform. All new client paperwork and payments can be made directly on the platform.

I work with clients of all ages from very diverse backgrounds ranging from troubled teens to adults working through life transitions. I specialized in working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, big life changes, anger, PTSD, behavioral/conduct disorders, relationship issues, and court-ordered NOJOS therapy among others. As a native Spanish-speaker, I can provide bi-lingual therapy to individuals and families in person or via telehealth. During the therapeutic process I will help clients create specific goals of what they want to achieve and we will work together in weekly sessions to achieve it.
