These include EMDR, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, dialectical behavior therapy ( DBT), compassion-focused therapy, talk therapy, and life coaching, just to name a few.
In-person and teletherapy appointment options available. Life is full of challenging and painful experiences. These stressful, sometimes traumatic events can create suffering, grief, and emotional upset. You may lose focus on your goals. Your relationships may be negatively affected. If your life plans go off course, get pushed aside or delayed, you may need help getting things back on track. I am passionate about empowering clients to find peace and self-compassion, reduce distress, and reclaim their lives. I work with teens and adults helping them bravely transition from a state of survival to one of thriving.

These techniques include Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, DBT and Mindfulness.
I love seeing clients' strengths and their ability to unlock their true self - to see the potential and value that they have. I understand that clients come into the clinic with different backgrounds, histories, and readiness for treatment, and I am ready to join with them wherever they are at on their journey through life and help them reach the goals they set out to achieve. I especially enjoy working with individuals struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and challenging life changes.

I use evidence-based modalities and am certified in EMDR and DBT.
As a therapist, I feel honored to join my clients on their journey of healing as they are reminded of their strengths and learn new skills to overcome their challenges. I understand the importance of building trust with my clients, respecting their stories without judgment, and creating a safe space for them to be open and vulnerable. I find joy in helping my clients better understand themselves and their past and present relationships, let go of negative core beliefs and patterns that are no longer serving them, and ultimately believe that they are enough.

With his training and experience in multiple modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Response Prevention, he teaches/guides his clients to overcome or manage their depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, addiction, grief, and much more.
Life brings with it challenges and stresses for all of us that, at times, make the journey seem frightening and hopeless. Anxiety, depression, grief, anger, and trauma find their way into ALL of our lives to one degree or another. When we experience such times, we long for a deeper connection with our loved ones but are unable to find it. The good news is that we don’t need to suffer alone and there IS hope for healing and connection!

In therapy I use a combination of different therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, ACT, CBT, and DBT to best meet the needs of those I work with.
Do you feel weighed down by the heavy expectations of perfectionism? Does anxiety keep you from engaging in the things you want? I believe that everyone deserves and has the power to create a joyful and meaningful life! My ultimate goal as I work with you is to help you reflect on the past, embrace the present, and find hope, joy, and excitement for the future. I have spent years researching and writing about perfectionism. This topic has become a passion of mine and is something I focus on in my work with individuals.
