To heal it is important to be heard, understood, and seen. We go through different life events and can experience suffering along the way that impairs daily living. My goal is getting to the root of the present challenge to support lasting change so people can experience the well-being they deserve as a human right! I take an integrative, compassionate, and accepting approach meeting people where they are at focusing with experiential, emotion focused, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and person centered approaches to help people heal. I collaborate with clients to create meaning and draw out authentic living.

As someone considering therapy, you may be going through something in your life that feels like you can't share it with anyone else; a feeling that can be lonely, overwhelming, and confusing. Perhaps there have been changes that you yourself are still trying to navigate and understand, whether it's a positive change or a negative one, it's still a change that can turn your world upside down! Learning to navigate the trials of life can be challenging because of the ways we have to learn how to cope, address, and respond to new stressors.

I provide counseling to individuals and couples in the Salt Lake City area. I work with my clients to identify issues clearly and help them to create lasting change. Once this change occurs, problems will be seen as opportunities, rather than failures. I am often told by my clients they feel a level of trust, acceptance and comfort that has been missing with other therapists. When working with individuals, I use acceptance and mindfulness based approaches to manage anxiety and other symptoms you may be experiencing. I will help you look at negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a fulfilling life.
