I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in working with children, teenagers, and young adults to treat mood disorders and behavior problems by providing the highest quality care, compassionately delivered. As a therapist, I am known to be relational, even-keeled, and collaborative. My approach is dynamic and personable. I help clients attune to their needs, learn how to ground themselves when overwhelmed and overexerted, regain trust and confidence in their abilities, and find opportunities for more meaningful connections. For some, this involves specific skill-building, social coaching, exposure, or trauma work; for others, this involves simply holding the space to talk it out.

I deeply enjoy working with adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, past traumas, and those who want to gain a better understanding of who they are. You may have the experience of feeling disconnected from others or difficulty knowing how you bring value to the world. If you have (or suspect you have) ADHD, you may feel overwhelmed from constantly trying to fit into a box that wasn't made for you. Together, we will explore your struggles, values, history, and strengths to cope with challenges and begin to feel more connected with yourself and those you care about.

As a Queer, BIPOC, Utah native with an LDS background, I understand the unique and diverse aspects of our culture. It comes with its own set of challenges, whether related to religion, racial identity, sexuality, emotional expression and vulnerability, or the sense of isolation that can sometimes accompany being part of this community. If you find yourself overwhelmed by emotions, struggling to connect with others, feeling stressed, or just barely hanging on, I am here to help.

Have you noticed that your life has gotten small? That no matter what you do, you find yourself feeling like you are carrying heavy burdens that you can't let go of? You are not alone in this struggle. As a therapist, I have a particular focus on the intersection of trauma and neurodivergence. I love to help people more deeply understand how they function, and how to harness their strengths to heal and find their own best path forward in life. I’m a passionate advocate for wellness whether mental, emotional, or physical, and I have a deep personal understanding of how different roadblocks can frustrate our efforts to achieve it.

Do you ever wonder how you've gotten to the place you are? Have you tried to pinpoint a particular event or relationship that seemed to have "caused" your discontent? Perhaps you're looking for the person you "used to be." Oftentimes, the reasons for feeling the way we do are complex and take time to uncover. My approach is supportive and collaborative, working with you to explore the things that are keeping you from feeling the way you want to. I will walk with you on your own personal path, in hopes that you begin to feel more connected with yourself, the people you love, and to the world around you.

As a therapist, I utilize a client centered approach. Life gets challenging sometimes and I believe in providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space for individuals as they are navigating their way through their journey. As humans, we all go through tough times and struggle with different mental health related issues.

My goal as a clinician is to develop a safe, honest, trusting relationship so that my clients can explore all parts of themselves without judgement. I use evidence based practices and draw on the therapeutic relationship to help my clients feel seen, heard, and understood in ways that can offer healing. My hope is to help my clients enjoy the healthy and nurturing relationships they are seeking, and to live a more whole, purposeful, and satisfying life. I work well with individuals and couples who are looking to get to the root of their challenges, and move past managing symptoms.

Our mission is to provide quality online mental health and substance abuse services while breaking down the barriers of traditional, office-based therapy. Traditional mental health and substance abuse treatment tends to focus on what makes you sick, and what you are lacking but at The Mindful Lemon, our clinicians let you sit in the driver’s seat, focusing on your strengths and assets to help you become the best version of you! This can be via traditional talk therapy, medication management, mindfulness techniques, an emphasis on health, wellness, and fitness, or any combination of the above.
