I am a trauma informed therapist and immerse myself in studying and learning the dance of trauma healing. I am a body based trauma therapist. We don't think ourselves out of trauma, we move through it with the wisdom of our body. I take a unique, gentle approach to processing the different aspects of trauma. I am intuitive and very open. Truly this work is my passion.

I opened my practice with a focus to help people heal from their traumas. As the practice grew, I shifted my focus into the training and development of an amazing clinical team of therapists. I shared my knowledge and helped them to grow in myriad ways. For a time, I had closed my caseload entirely so I could focus on the development of my team members. I am now opening my caseload again to continue my original passion as a healer.

I love helping people! I have been at it professionally for almost 40 years. I see clients with all kinds of issues. I have trained and supervised other therapists and seen them in my own practice. I would love to help you too.

My passion is bringing hope and healing to individuals who have experienced a traumatic or stressful event or situation. When severe stress or trauma is experienced it is not unusual to feel unraveled or emotionally uprooted. I help my clients, who include children, adults, couples, and families, find hope and gain healthy perceptions of themselves. I enable clients to strengthen their relationships, so they can recognize themselves as the safe confident and complete individuals they are.

I had a professor a few years ago who said something life changing to me. He said, “As a therapist, it is your job to be the very last person in the room to give up hope.” This quote has helped shape how I conduct therapy and how I form relationships with my clients. I will be the person my clients can count on, believe in, trust, and encourage them to keep going and keep hoping.

When people come into therapy for the first time they are often struggling with fallout from unconscious forces. Clients describe sudden anxieties, sadness, blockages or are unable to do the things which they know will be good for them. Many feel bound because they are driven by unconscious patterns. Others just need some help with coping, changing bad habits or making a tough decision.

Sometimes in this crazy life, we just need an empathetic listener, validating words, someone to help guide our broken spirit or to walk by our side during difficult times.
