My strengths as a clinician are in working with clients with trauma, anxiety, grief, life changes, relationship struggles, addressing blocks in achieving life goals, self-esteem issues, coping skill challenges and those struggling with a strong sense of identity. We collaborate together to help you ground to yourself and your potential. I believe true change occurs when we combine awareness with skills.

Hello I am Marcia Hadley, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state Nevada and Utah. I started working in mental health in 2001. I like to encourage a sense of curiosity and humor when working. I find that not only have my client’s been through tremendous struggles they are wanting to find genuine connections. The one thing I have realized is that people want to do their best. Sometimes we just need some love, kindness, and compassion to help us along the way. I believe it is important to have a strong, trusting, therapeutic relationship which allows people to live their best life.

You're not entirely certain what's wrong and you might be asking yourself, "Am I crazy?" Your emotions change from feeling anxious, depressed, or irritable, to maybe feeling nothing at all. It may be that sometimes things come to mind that you would rather not think about, but you can't seem to turn it off. Maybe you find that you feel disconnected from yourself or others in your life. At the end of each day you might wonder how you're going to get up and do it all again, and you've reached the point where this is no longer sustainable and cannot be ignored, and you want more for your life.

Do you struggle with Anxiety, PTSD, and/or Depression that impacts your daily life? Do you feel emotionally drained, tired, distressed or find it difficult to maintain focus? We know it is not easy to take the initial steps into therapy; however, it shows strength, motivation for change, and compassion for self. I would love to collaborate with you to develop the skills necessary to work through stress, trauma, life obstacles, and changes. I have a passion for helping those with a variety of mental health conditions. I grew up in a military family, and I love working with military service members, veterans, and their families.

While you are uniquely special, your struggles are more common than you think. We all have challenges, and often in very universal ways. It’s all part of the human experience. I believe in the power of processing feelings and experiences as a way of helping us make sense of them. It can be profoundly healing to have a safe space in which to be affirmed and productively challenged. Together we can explore issues related to ambivalence, shame, resilience, boundaries, connection, confidence, and self-development in order to help you fully show up in your life.

I believe that each client is an expert in their own life thus therapeutic work should be collaborative. I take a motivational, strengths-based approach with the belief that eventually the pain will subside and we get to decide what will take its place. Therapy can be uncomfortable but it should be embraced as we make changes for growth, find value through the difficult experiences, and peace in collaboration. I understand therapy can be difficult to step into my goal is to just help you feel it was worth it!

Hello. I am a mindfulness based therapist. I focus on why energy in the mind-body rises when facing conflict and how it is a stress response to “keep you safe." You will be guided to recognize when you are reactive, what that does to your ability to think in that moment, and how to respond differently. When appropriate, I will also utilize EMDR to reprocess stuck trauma. It is truly life changing when you learn to pair life challenges with a calm mind-body.
