Philosophy of Care: I approach the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process. Life can present us with many challenges. Many of us pass through experiences that can impact our emotional stability and create struggles to connect with ourselves and with others. I work within the context of the therapeutic setting with a comprehensive approach. I utilize many of the theoretical orientations that I have learned through my years of being a healing practitioner. As a therapist, I strive to assist my clients in increasing their overall quality of life.

I am currently an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Dr. Christy Kane's office providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My previous profession of 20+ years was in technology with a BS degree in Business Management & Marketing. I spent most my time developing and mentoring individuals and teams successfully achieving goals. I returned to school in 2020 to get a MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with my goal of helping others live happier and more fulfilling lives.

I have practiced in several cities across the U.S., such as San Francisco, Boston, and now Highland, I am well-equipped to provide effective and compassionate therapy to those in need.

I know what it's like to hit rock bottom, only to find that it can get even worse. I specialize in helping clients who struggle with codependency, anxiety and trauma. I also love helping people learn to set boundaries and communicate more effectively. The clients who fit best with me are people who have struggled with feelings of guilt for taking care of themselves and who don't know where to start when it comes to setting boundaries. I also work well with clients who are ready to start processing, healing and resolving trauma both large and small, and treating themselves with more compassion. I am also passionate about providing supervision for interns and provisionally licensed therapists, including MFTs.
