I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Brigham Young University and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I have been a director over substance abuse and mental health programs, working with a variety of clients. I am experienced in adult and adolescent addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal and relationship issues, personality disorders, and victim issues stemming from all areas of abuse; as well as additional training in trauma and domestic violence.

As a therapist, I take joy in helping individuals discover their own unique healing journeys, and in crafting their own solutions. I specialize in working with teens and adults who struggle with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation and victims of abuse. I like to involve parents in the process so that it is a team approach and everyone can utilize skills to help each other. I also work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety and life changes. I enjoy teaching skills and tools to implement in daily life.
