Tyler has spent the past six years working with children, adults, and families throughout the community as part of a school based treatment team and as part of a therapeutic foster family agency. Helping others has always been a passion of Tyler's and she truly believes that although people may stumble and fall along the way it does not mean that they can not get back up grow from their experiences, whether they be positive or negative.
She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing which she uses to assist her client's in moving forward without allowing their past to define their present or their future. Other areas of treatment that she specializes in include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and attachment.
Tyler's therapeutic style integrates aspects of psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques. Tyler believes in creating a safe and welcoming environment to allow her clients to be able to explore their thoughts, feelings, concerns, and gain insight in to how to improve their day to day lives.
