Bluebonnet Counseling Center is a trauma sensitive, psychologist and woman-led, private practice specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adults, and families. We offer counseling services in-person and through telehealth to families, adults, adolescents, and children in a warm, supportive environment conducted by our team of licensed professionals. Welcome, my name is Scarlett Black and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with over 15 years of experience. I have a wide range of experience providing evidence based practices for children and adults addressing complex trauma, grief and loss, mood disorders, and anger management. My approach is client centered and solution focused with the most common theoretical approach I incorporate being Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but also utilizing Motivational Interviewing and Play Therapy.

Additionally, I assist successful individuals with adjustment issues such as relationship problems, divorce, works problems and general stress. Many of my patients have attempted therapy several times before and are pleased with my unique approach to understanding and helping with their affliction or helping them remove limitations to a fulfilling and satisfying life.
