Kathy is a nationally certified drug and alcohol interventionist. She is a board registered Interventionist, and a Certified drug and alcohol counselor. She has been working in the field of addiction recovery for over 20 years. Her hands-on experience with SUD has given her the clinical comprehension of what to expect and how to assist you and your loved one through the transition into recovery. Kathy recognizes that substance use disorder is a debilitating disease that attacks an individual and families on all Ievels: physically, emotionally & spiritually. Her goal is to restore hope with care, honesty, and professionalism.

The ideal client has had enough of trying to solve “life on life's terms” with the same reactions and patterns that have proven inefficient, and possibly disastrous in the past. I was trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. This translates into goal-oriented therapy sessions in as few sessions as necessary to accomplish identified goals. I believe that clients seek mental health therapy to improve their daily living and it is my job to provide a safe space along with relevant psychotherapeutic interventions that enlighten a path to better living.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in helping clients and their families solve problems, psychological problems. I am passionate about working with individuals who have problems with the way they use alcohol or drugs as well as those that have developed a drinking or drug problem (addiction). In addition, a significant amount of my work is with individuals that struggle with excess worry and anxiety, from college students to older adults.
