I am a retired school counselor that has experienced many situations as well as a private counselor that has counseled with adolescents dealing with problems in the home. Our lives are more complicated today than ever before. We are pulled in so many different directions - work, home, children who are dealing with lockdowns and bullying, and financial insecurity to name a few. And those emotions! They begin to overwhelm and contribute to heightened anxiety, depression, trauma, and exhaustion.
