My therapeutic approach includes EMDR, Jungian, and Solution Focused.
You may be able to manage your day to day tasks, but something is holding you back from your full potential. Over time, you have developed limiting beliefs about yourself. This may impact your job performance, parental duties, and/or relationships. You have difficulty managing your thoughts and emotions. Maybe you have signs of high functioning anxiety or depression. Either way, awareness is always the first step to change! I believe life is a process, and at times people need a safe place to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Are you ready for therapy? If you're frustrated, feeling alone in the struggle and interested in understanding more about the patterns that have kept you (and your relationship) stuck, it’s time. Therapy with me will help you get started on the path to making real, lasting changes. While taking the first step to meet a psychotherapist can be difficult, your relationships and mental health are worth it. I can offer you the kind of support, guidance and gentle feedback that may be useful, no matter the challenge. Let's take the next step together. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Virtual teletherapy is done using Zoom.

Waitlist for new clients
Therapy is a partnership that grows in an atmosphere of safety and acceptance. It allows one to rediscover the parts of selves which may have been disowned; to learn new skills to handle grief and distress; to build healthier, more nurturing relationships; and to gain access to one's own direct experience of the world. I nurture this collaboration with clients and recognize that within each of us there exists a deeper wisdom that, given adequate support, naturally moves toward healing and integration.

I believe that a supportive and caring therapeutic relationship can offer great benefits toward living a more fulfilling and abundant life. The world seems to be moving at an ever-rapid pace, often leaving us little time to step into the slower rhythms which promote reflection. Therapy supports the slowing process, allowing for the thoughtful and intuitive contemplation of ourselves and our personal life challenges while offering creative and generative avenues for navigating them. Together we will explore such areas with openness and compassion and through the lens of wholeness and healing.

Every one of us will experience crisis in our lifetime. These intense times of difficulty may be easy to name: relationship strife, a significant loss, or traumatic events. Other times you may be living with the gnawing sense that the life you’ve built doesn’t serve who you truly are. You may be experiencing anxiety and depression, unfulfilling relationships, or a resurfacing of unmet grief or trauma. No matter what distress has arrived at your door, it’s possible that you feel lost and confused and wonder what you can do. You are not alone. I’ve been there, and so has almost everyone you know.

I am a life transition therapist. I help adults overcome anxiety and the unknown in order to step into new seasons of life with confidence and hope. Transitions can be exhausting. A breakup, leaving your country or the place you used to live or work, losing your health, starting college or grad school are moments when your inner coping resources could fail. Mid life can be hard and confusing. When you lose a loved one, you may feel estranged, angry and traumatized too. Finding a safe space to heal and learn new coping strategies can make a difference. Working with me you will learn new tools to navigate into safe emotional shores.

As a Jungian Analyst, I am a strong advocate for the innate strengths and capacities of my clients.
The need for help is a deep instinct that dwells in each of us. There are times in our lives when we face challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, trapped, frustrated, confused, depressed, or anxious. When we reach this point, it is natural to look for direction and support from the people and world around us. If you are feeling at a loss, afraid or frustrated, or if you are struggling with a difficult change in your life, psychotherapy can help move you toward a greater sense of well-being and empowerment.

With an overall Jungian lens, I enjoy using interventions that go beyond talk-therapy.
What feels like an invisible veil has taken over your whole body. It doesn’t let you connect with the things that inspired you before. You remember being smart, you remember smiling at the world. Yet something eroded to the point of not recognizing yourself anymore. Other people appear to live their lives fully, with zest… why can’t you? You may have everything you need, but it feels impossible to find what's getting in the way. If I asked, what do you want? Would you be able to tell me? Not what you want of others, but what you want from yourself.

The journey of life can be happy & promising. However, if your life has begun to feel like a never ending battle, circumstances and issues overwhelm you, feelings of depression or anxiety burden you, important relationships have broken down, abuse or traumatic events are robbing you of peace, I am here to offer compassion, guidance and a ‘safe place’ to share your deepest wounds or concerns. In these very uncertain times, many families and individuals are under a great deal of extra stress, putting further strain on relationships and problems that already existed.

Let's face it, life can be stressful. That stress can become even more pronounced as you navigate new transitions like becoming an adult, moving to a new city, starting a new job, or leaving a relationship. Often times we have the answer but just need help sorting things out. Sometimes family and friends can be too close to help you identify your challenges. Sometimes THEY are the challenge. Working and trying to manage day-to-day responsibilities is no simple task. This is why I a firm believer in therapy.

Are you feeling unhappy with your life and wishing things would change for the better? Maybe your marriage or love relationship is in trouble and you are repeating the same old patterns - trust issues, anger or feeling distant. Or the source of worry could be problems in the family. Life itself can give you a big roadblock like a deep loss or a career challenge. Have you gotten to the point where the things you have tried haven't helped enough? And talking to even trusted friends has limits. You don't have to be trapped by worry and discouragement. You can have healthier relationships and a happier life.

Jungian Therapists

How does Jungian therapy work?

Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?

Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?

According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?

Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
