For 14 years, I worked in the public school system where I found my love of helping people regulate big emotions. For the better part of a decade of my professional career I had the privilege of working with children and teenagers from traumatic backgrounds such as abuse and neglect. That experience paved the way for my approach to counseling which seeks to help clients understand the connections between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Much of my counseling experience has been focused on the treatment of Anxiety based disorders including phobias, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, panic, and generalized anxiety. I also have spent noted time helping clients walking through clinical depression and disorders such as AD/HD.
