Life is full of challenges and opportunities to grow. I believe that healing takes place when you have someone to walk alongside to create space where you can safely deal with what concerns you without shame and without judgement. My goal is to create that space and to be that person who will walk with you as you confront what is no longer serving you and develop lasting change.

I am so happy that you're taking some time to explore psychotherapy. I offer online and in person sessions. Deciding to start therapy can be hard. But, continuing to struggle with the challenges, a life that hasn't quite gone the way it should, and hurts in life is so much harder. Together we will work to make sense of the emotional, spiritual and physical struggles that are going on.

Deciding to begin therapy can be a vulnerable time in life. I am here to help you, as your therapist, identify your goals, find your strengths, and implement healthy coping skills. I work with children, adults, and families to focus on healing. I enjoy working with all ages, and specialize in working with children (and their caregivers) and individuals with an abuse history. In therapy, we will utilize your strengths and interests, such as art or play for children, to individualize treatment!

I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a CACREP accredited program. I am under the supervision of Jenifer Martin, LPC-S.
