I've lead classes on how to improve your communication with others, groups helping navigate depression, anxiety, stress management, and improving self-esteem.

Are you having trouble understanding your child’s behavior and emotions? Are you feeling as though you have tried everything to help them, but nothing is working? I provide psychological/neuropsychological evaluations and therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults (Ages 2-21) with developmental disabilities and related conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability, disruptive behavior, and neurological issues such as acquired brain injury. I have gradually centered my work around people dealing with trauma, addiction, attachment struggles and OCD because I identify with the experience and have experienced healing myself. Complex trauma, attachment difficulties, addiction and OCD often cause chronic emotional disregulation. The attention grabbing power of the past or the future remove connection with the present and the people in it. Additionally, persistent negative beliefs about oneself, God or others make progress feel too hard or a fleeting and disappointing experience. Helping people find freedom and start living is the passion that fuels my work.

My journey to becoming a counselor started from a young age when I realized I felt things on a deep level... or at least cried more than the other guys! For a long time I struggled with my sensitivity, thinking less of myself for lacking the control to ignore or suppress my feelings. However, over time I found that my sensitivity allowed me to empathize with others on a unique level, and that in owning and sharing my feelings, others felt more comfortable to do the same. As a result, it is my aim to provide individuals a safe space to share their struggles and develop tools to feel confident in their ability to cope with life.
