I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M International University in 1999 and a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Texas State University in 2013. I have 10+ years of experience working with children and adults providing individual and family counseling, including extensive experience providing trauma-informed care with immigrant families and youth involved with the foster care and juvenile justice systems. We specialize in complex trauma disorders and high-trauma populations, such as first responders, veterans, and their family members. Under the supervision of Douglas Chan, LPC-S, Be Sonder is owned by Sarah Galvez, LPC-Associate, and Brianna Dorris, LPC-Associate. Both Sarah and Brianna are skilled in crisis intervention, trauma therapy, and have extensive experience working with a multitude of mental health diagnoses and issues.
