In our lives we will experience suffering, hardship and brokenness. Our lives are impacted individually and relationally by it. Often we find ourselves enraged, running, or hiding as we come into contact with areas of life that seem uncontrollable and daunting. The burden weighs heavy as we are unable to be who we were created to be. The depth of suffering becomes magnified in ourselves and our relationships and we desire for a lasting change. Sometimes holding to a biblical worldview can make counseling questionable amidst the hardships of life. Knowing that your counselor has the same worldview can be helpful and reassuring.
