Hello, my name is Marcia Smith, EdD., LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of The Release Center. I provide services for the state of Texas. Life is full of surprises and transitions resolved with feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, and/or grief. I have more than 25 years working in the counseling profession and have counseled and coached thousands. I am also a Certified Life Coach. There are so many stressors today, but with the proper strategies and techniques you can learn to manage them. I help people discover life purpose, solve frustrations, worry, fear, anxiety, depression, lack of self-confidence, career issues, fulfillment and future goals etc. I work with you and empower you to put the necessary skills and strategies in place that will lead to your better wellbeing. Mrs. Rahim started RCCS in 2010. Her first experience in the field in 2007 was at the Veteran Hospital's Pain Clinic and In-patient Area. After Graduation, she spent some time in the Middle East and voluntarily served her time and knowledge with familial issues and women issues. She has experienced hospice and loss, & understands grief and suicide. Her years of experience is wide as she has worked with clients and their families about depression, anxiety, addiction, multi-cultural, multi-racial family and marital issues. She works well with adults and adolescents dealing with self esteem and communication issues.

Geri Beard-Chaney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor in Texas who has been practicing since 2001. She obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. Her experience spans more than 30 years in Psychiatry in inpatient care as well as outpatient mental health services. Geri sees adults individually as well as families, and groups.
