I also have extensive experience working with children with developmental and behavioral disorders including ADHD and autism.

I have more than fifteen years of experience working with children and their families on issues related to behavior management and parenting, anxiety , perfectionism, mood, developmental and learning disabilities, autism, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I enjoy utilizing a combination of therapy and assessment to better understand the needs of my clients and to optimize outcomes. My training includes a doctoral degree in clinical psychology with specialization in pediatric neuropsychology, an internship at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and postdoctoral training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical School.

As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, I have been testing toddlers, children, adolescents and college students in Houston for over 10 years. A neuropsychological evaluation diagnoses learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, attention problems, language disorders, giftedness, emotional issues, and behavior issues by integrating testing with medical, academic and developmental history. Testing can also help educators and parents have a better understanding of a child's learning style and processing strengths and weaknesses. The goal of an assessment is to provide useful diagnostic information and targeted practical recommendations. Dr. Raizner works regularly with local schools, clinical psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and physicians.

My name is Cristina Lima and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Board Certified in Neurofeedback. I have a PhD in Counseling. Besides my educational background, I have more than 23 years of professional counseling practice.
