At our first session, we will focus on your concerns, what brought you into therapy, and any other contributing factors. I will ask questions to clarify my understanding of your concerns, and to get you to begin thinking differently about your situation. We'll discuss your goals and expectations, and how you will know when things are better. My intent will be to help you get "unstuck" from psychological problems, and become the best problem-solver you can be. While collectively working to restore your self-respect, self-worth, and self-mastery.

I specialize in couples counseling and adult relationships. I have been doing couples work since 1977 and also have experience teaching graduate students in Marriage and Family Counseling. Courses included Separation, Divorce and Remarriage as well as Introduction to Marriage and Family Counseling. Previously I was Director of the Counseling Center at University of Houston where I had a staff of Psychologists and trained Psychologists.
