I specialize in assessment and diagnosis of a variety of mental health concerns. My goal is to assist clients in understanding their mental health and relationships while answering the question "what now?" by providing appropriate referrals and suggestions once assessment is complete.

Dr. Rozemarijn (Rosie) Staal is a warm and caring clinical psychologist who has been trained to use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal therapy to help individuals improve their overall emotional well-being. In clinical practice, Dr. Staal focuses on delivering evidence-based treatments, and she has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns, in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings.

I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing consultation with individual clients and other mental health professionals. My professional experience includes service in the United States Navy as a Staff Psychologist and private practice in the Dallas area since 2004. My specialty areas include individual psychotherapy with adults and psychological evaluations utilizing a variety of personality assessment instruments. I also specialize in psychotherapy with adults to support recovery from sexual addiction.

Due to the complexity of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Texas Autism Assessment and Advocacy Group feels that a multidisciplinary approach to assessment is imperative in determining an appropriate and accurate diagnosis. In our practice, each evaluation is conducted by a Licensed Psychology Associate with over 15 years experience as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, along with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The change we need to live healthy can seem more difficult than the pain. The emptiness of escapism, whether through restriction, drugs, alcohol, food, etc. obscures your potential. He focuses on individual strengths and normalizing experiences throughout the lifespan and encourages individuals to rediscover their internal strengths. Additionally, Dr. Bean specializes in video games, children & adolescents, and the virtual worlds played in. He is considered an expert in this growing field, has been published extensively in the discipline. He works with children, adolescents, and adults who play video games and their families to better understand the immersive effects video games have upon the individual and resulting family dynamics.
