I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked with a wide range of client issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and complex PTSD, with a particular emphasis on severe interpersonal trauma. This type of trauma often results from issues related to adult and childhood sexual/physical abuse, intimacy partner violence, and insecure attachments. I work flexibly, using a wide range of counseling approaches to create a treatment direction to successfully address each client's particular needs.

I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and a strong supporter of equality in all of its aspects. I believe everyone is a person, and every person needs to be cared for, validated, and supported throughout whatever they are facing in their life. My preference is to focus on the LGBTQIA+ population, mainly because I do not think there is enough allies in the counseling field that have this preference in populations.
