I am a clinical psychologist, in private practice over 20 years. My educational background includes a doctoral degree from the highly esteemed program in humanistic psychology at Georgia State University, study at the City College of New York and the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin. I like to work with all kinds of people with many types of issues. Among my areas of interest are depression, fear and anxiety, learning to lower stress, couples' problems, parenting, improving family relationships, and gay and lesbian concerns.

I work with children (aged 10+), teens, college students, and adults helping them reclaim their confidence, voice, and live in a hopeful and meaningful way. Whether you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or OCD; I am here to walk alongside you on your journey of healing. I emphasize a collaborative approach, welcoming clients to share concerns and express their goals for the most effective outcomes. I also integrate Play Therapy and Expressive Arts techniques to inspire creative expression and exploration.

I believe that we are influenced by social and biological forces, but our life is not fixed because of them. Together we will explore and discover skills and a mindset to cope, resolve, and/or transition into the new chapter that waits.
