I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. I provide services to children through adults using a variety of modalities from a Person/Child-Centered perspective. My goal is to help my clients gain new insights and develop strategies that will enable them to reach their optimal potential in a comfortable and nurturing environment. My experience base includes 10 years experience as a Special Education Teacher and 18 years as an Elementary School Counselor in the public school system. I welcome clients of all ages with my specialty being school age children.

I have focused training and experience providing therapeutic services to adults, children, and couples. My experience spans several areas, including but not limited to domestic violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, family and relationship challenges, learning challenges, problem-solving skills, building resilience skills, career and vocational guidance, anger and stress management, emotional triggers, and life and resilience skills. I am a 24-year Air Force and Army Veteran with three combat deployments, and I bring a unique understanding of deployments and family separation.

A teenager with history of poor social skills, diagnosed with developmental delay, psychosis nos, anxiety issues and diagnosis of schizophrenia and Bipolar. Also depression and autism.This are the presenting issues that the teenager has to deal with throughout his/her life. Sometimes the teenager have a psychosis episode and sometimes on denial.

As a Christian counselor I long to encourage and uplift. I consider it an honor when clients share their personal pain and struggle with me.
