I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor working with children, adolescents and adults going through a variety of situations and life transitions. I earned my bachelors in Psychology in Mexico City and a Masters degree in psychoanalysis. I then moved to Miami, FL to pursue another masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with people from all walks of life going through anxiety, depression, domestic violence, incarceration, mental illness, and life transitions such as divorce, death of a loved one, entering adolescence, among others. My focus is mainly psychodynamic.

Accepting new clients. With over 13 years of experience, I have a passion for helping others discover their best selves. Fears, anxieties, and difficult circumstances can leave us feeling stuck and hold us back from living the life we truly want. I join with my clients to explore barriers and overcome them to create a sense of peace and wholeness. Therapy is the most beneficial when we engage in meaningful discussion and exploration of your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and life history. My goal with clients is to help them arrive at a place where they feel comfortable, secure, and empowered to be themselves.

My strength and passion in counseling lay in child and adolescent therapy working on body image issues, eating disorders, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral issues. I have experience in working collaboratively with clients, their medication management team, parents, teachers, dietitians, and pediatricians to ensure the circle of care is complete and my clients have the support of their community in their treatment journey.

I am dedicated to working with women, individuals, children and families from preconception through the first-year post-delivery and on throughout parenthood and into childhood.

I believe that the client is the expert of their lives and a therapist's main function is to be a mirror and help the client manage difficult emotions. In the time I have spent on my professional journey, I have seen that I do particularly well in helping clients struggling through grief & adversity, including trauma.

Creating a safe space for individuals has always been an important objective for me and my philosophy as a counselor. I’m deeply passionate about mental health and hoping to help normalize the stigma of asking for help. Assisting clients rediscover parts of themselves they may be unfamiliar with due to experiencing trauma, loss or other life experiences is a main focus of mine.
