Counseling provides a means to healing. I specialize in treating clients who are at least 6 years old through adults. Children may face difficulties with anger management, bullying, physical aggression; difficulties in school, with peers or family members; and defiance. Issues for others may include but not limited to building coping skills for parenting, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, divorce/separation, teen pregnancy, domestic violence, physical/sexual abuse; sexual assault, P.T.S.D., relationship issues, communication skills, and conflict resolution. I work with youth and adults individually, as couples, and/or families.

A. , Guidance and Counseling from University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.A., Early Childhood Education from UTSA. Lori offers support and encouragement to clients as well as teaches them coping skills as they are going through a difficult time in their lives. Lori makes sure clients are treated with compassion, and services are strictly confidential. Outside of work, Lori enjoys reading, gardening, music, Latin/country dancing, and spending time with her mother, children, and grandchildren.

I have experience working with clients of all ages and a passion for working with children and adolescents. As a part of my clinical training I gained experience working at a clinic specializing with children working through abuse and trauma and in an out-patient community counseling center.
