Welcome! I help people stuck in an exhausting web of anxiety and self-doubt. My clients often pretend to “make it” despite being filled with unwanted thoughts and feelings. Many of the people I work with have experienced traumatic events and relationships. In addition, I support people who manage chronic health conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, pelvic pain, and other invisible, chronic conditions. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional, mental health, and interpersonal issues impact you. You grew up in a dysfunctional family and want to overcome the negative consequences this has for you. You’re managing a persistent mental health condition and want to maximize symptom management. You want to stop the avoidable suffering from the much underdiagnosed and undertreated issue of low self-esteem which complicates other issues.

I believe that your past does not define you and everyone deserves to heal and feel better. No one should have to go through life's toughest moments alone. The people I work with usually want something about themselves or their life to be different. Painful and overwhelming experiences tend to impact who they are, how they feel about themselves, and how they relate to others. Healing usually includes caring for wounds, learning lots, and doing things a little differently than before. People feel better about themselves - stronger, more secure, calmer, and more peaceful - as a result of healing work and therapy.

Life has a way of presenting people with challenges they never could have imagined would happen. This can lead to confusion, depression, anxiety and/or grief. Emotional pain can be as incapacitating as physical pain. My approach helps clients explore the internal messages their body & mind provides by tuning into the wisdom of these internal messages. When clients explore their depression, anxiety, etc. from a non-judgmental, compassionate perspective, it often provides a wealth of information about unresolved fears, strengths & new possibilities. Through conscious choices & greater awareness, it's possible to find enriched meaning in life by bringing curiosity & acceptance to their inner experience.
