The focus of my practice is Trauma and Dissociation and Trauma related struggles. I currently offer counseling services for Individual Adults/Teens 16 and older. I have worked as the lead clinical therapist at an inpatient treatment center for adult women with trauma, as well as an inpatient treatment center with teens focused on behavioral issues. I have also worked with single adults, married couples, and retirees. I have also worked in Intensive outpatient programs for adult men.

I have served military families for 12 years. Military and civilian families share many of the same issues. Military families tend to deal with and experience multiple relocations. Many military families move every three to five years. This means moving children to new schools, dealing with household packing and unpacking and stress in general.

You feel stuck. Trauma does that. It leaves you feeling disconnected from yourself and others. When you are disconnected from yourself, it's really difficult to make decisions, feel motivated to do anything, or feel like you are living at all. When you are disconnected from others, it's isolating, lonely, and can cause ruptures in important relationships. Trauma is any experience that is too much for your system to handle and can occur at any point in your life. These experiences leave you feeling unbalanced, scattered, and, at times, tormented by the past. You long to feel like yourself again, or maybe for the first time.

As a survivor of child abuse, she received Christ at the age of 12 and has continued to watch as God serves as her life navigator preparing her for God’s next steps of her journey as is promised in Proverbs 3:5-6. She earned her M.Div. from Liberty University and is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association while holding several professional and counseling certifications.
