Hi there! I can say from my own experiences that life isn’t always easy, fun or fair. In fact, as the years go by we are often faced with more difficult challenges. Factor in general adulting and whew! Sometimes, even the strongest amongst us needs a little bit of support working through life’s more challenging obstacles. When you are disconnected from yourself, it's really difficult to make decisions, feel motivated to do anything, or feel like you are living at all. When you are disconnected from others, it's isolating, lonely, and can cause ruptures in important relationships. Trauma is any experience that is too much for your system to handle and can occur at any point in your life. These experiences leave you feeling unbalanced, scattered, and, at times, tormented by the past. You long to feel like yourself again, or maybe for the first time.
