Group therapy helps children and youth in a variety of ways. Learning new ways to think, cope, and interact is beneficial to emotional growth. Relating to others with the same issues allows the client not to feel alone or different. Group therapy is a time of forming healthy relationships, learning how to set boundaries, and enhancing one's self-esteem.
