Kathy is a nationally certified drug and alcohol interventionist. She is a board registered Interventionist, and a Certified drug and alcohol counselor. She has been working in the field of addiction recovery for over 20 years. Her hands-on experience with SUD has given her the clinical comprehension of what to expect and how to assist you and your loved one through the transition into recovery. Kathy recognizes that substance use disorder is a debilitating disease that attacks an individual and families on all Ievels: physically, emotionally & spiritually. Her goal is to restore hope with care, honesty, and professionalism.

My counseling philosophy is simple, “It is okay, not to be okay”. Many of us do not completely understand this essential and fundamentally important concept. I am dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care. I enjoy working with teenagers, ages 13 to 18, adults and married couples. My heart beats for those who are in pain. I take pleasure in assisting clients learn healthy and therapeutic tools to cope with life’s curve balls.

As a therapist, I get excited about the opportunity for change in a person’s life. I take a holistic approach, considering the many factors that affect a client’s mental and emotional state, not just the presenting problem. My goal is to connect with a person in such a way that allows me to understand the influences - family, friends, environment and medication - that contribute to their specific situation. My background as a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified teacher and school counselor, as well as working for 16+ years with at-risk individuals, from four years to adult, allows me to treat a wide range of clients.

I provide counseling for neurodivergent and atypical adolescents and adults. I am a certified ADHD provider. I don’t believe in one size fits all. I’m an open-minded and compassionate therapist ready to start where you are. As an ally, I am there to support the client so that they can learn strong coping skills. My work is trauma-informed. Anything from anxiety, depression, trauma or discomfort due to life transitions and difficult relationships will be a focus, and we can uncover what needs to be addressed with greater understanding so that we can face things head on with the tools you will learn.

As a recovered alcoholic for over 22 years, I am passionate in my desire to help those struggling with addiction to understand why this is happening, how to succeed at staying sober, and what it means to live a new life in recovery. As a specialist in the treatment of dual-diagnosis and process addiction disorders for both adolescents and adults, I strive to provide anyone affected by the disease of addiction with the tools necessary to restore sanity in their lives. I am Mone't Smith, a licensed professional counselor who has been providing therapy services for over 8 years. My vast experiences include inpatient and outpatient mental health care, school counseling, grief counseling, individual sessions for adults and teenagers, group sessions in mental health and substance abuse. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. EMDR therapy is used to treat trauma, distressing life experiences, depression, and anxiety. Our strengths include working with various forms of traumatic experiences and helping clients break free from childhood trauma.

I am a licensed social worker and have worked in the field of social work for over 19 years. I am a woman with lived experience surrounding neglect, trauma, divorce, motherhood, grief, failure, triumph, hiccups, mistakes, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, you name it. I am a true believer in giving grace to yourself and meeting yourself where you are. I am a Christian and will incorporate biblical principles in sessions if clients ask me to do so, however this is not the case for all of my clients.
