Heather Weemes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas who has been practicing since 2023. She has a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University. Heather helps clients explore their communication and attachment styles "“ both healthy and unhealthy "“ and connect the dots with how these impact connections in their current relationships and daily lives. Heather focuses on increasing self-awareness as it relates to somatic issues and the brain. Heather is passionate about helping clients recognize the impact unresolved trauma and addiction have on mental and physical health.

Prior to being in private practice, I spent four years as a counselor at Grapevine Valley Hope, a residential chemical dependency treatment center, helping adults begin to overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol. My personal style is down-to-earth, non-judgmental & accepting but also direct.

Mica has worked with at-risk youth for over 8 years. She has lived in Texas most of her life and received her Master's degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University. Mica has a passion for working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, substance abuse, relationship issues, and trauma. She also enjoys working with the LGBTQ population and minorities. Mica believes that building a healthy relationship with her clients is the foundation for successful therapy.

I am passionate about working with children, parents, and families to help improve overall quality of life and functioning within your family and community. Specifically, much of my clinical work focuses on family issues, career goals, interpersonal relationship building, coping with depression and anxiety, as well adults with a history of childhood trauma/abuse.

Ron Lewis is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been in practice since 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry and a Master's degree in Counseling/Psychology, both from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Ron gives non-judgmental, empathy-based active listening, personal rapport and assumes the role of the client's assistant/helper to guide them from a place of wherever they are to a better place.

Hi, I'm Lisa Besch, therapist, and owner of Renew Therapy and Wellness, PLLC. I understand that the struggle in life is real. I am passionate about walking alongside others, helping them find healing, and pursue growth. Trauma survivors are my specialty. I have worked alongside those who have experienced many traumas in their life. I understand what it is like to get triggered by something and react in a way you don't like. That is called a trauma response, and I can help you with those responses. Together we will process your trauma and find healing so that life won't be as stressful for you.

Anxiety, depression, and personal conflict are not always signs of illness, neurosis, or flaws of development, or character. Many times healthy individuals find themselves in internal struggles that are related to important growth points in their lives. These are periods of potential growth based in crises of values, spirituality, and expansion of self. Such crises are reflected in questions of a deeper, spiritual, or existential nature which the individual is asking, or in general non-specific feelings of unease, dissatisfaction, or depression. At the Child Behavior Center we work with you, and with your child. To help a child, we must help mom and dad too! We assist you in navigating the ups and downs of frustrating, often puzzling child behavior. Specializing in treatment for high functioning autism (Aspergers Syndrome in the past,) PDD (pervasive developmental delay), and many children with behavioral differences and challenges, we design treatment plans individualized for neuroatypical, developmentally challenged children, children with high anxiety, anger, aggression, and sensory overload, among others. A natural partner with these problems is often social rejection.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas in Counseling with a focus on trauma. My work with trauma led me to seek specialized training in childhood abuse/neglect, self worth, and resiliency. With my expertise, I have dedicated my practice to helping clients overcome their emotional challenges, gain resilience, and find a path towards growth and empowerment.
