I'm certified in (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. My passion for working with people experiencing post traumatic stress came as a result of my own experiences as an EMT and Paramedic during my career in emergency medicine serving as a first responder in Arizona, California and Texas currently nearing thirty years of service.

My name is Melanie Davis, and I received my master’s in counseling degree from Lindenwood University in Saint Louis, MO. I have over 20 years’ experience working in the mental health field. I have worked for several years in community- based rehabilitation programs for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. I also have experience working within the school system providing therapy to assist children as they navigate school relationships and learning.

Dr. McGill holds a certification in Alcohol and Drug Studies from UCLA, and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. Dr. McGill directed a residential treatment program for people challenged with sexual compulsivity, relationship addiction and sexual trauma. Dr. McGill also respectfully supports the integration of spirituality into the clinical treatment process.
