Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling degree from Liberty University. She has always had a passion for helping others. She taught music for fourteen years but has found her true calling in counseling. She has a strong desire for others to find strength in the midst of their weakness and use old wounds to make them stronger and help others in need.

My goal is to help you recognize your strengths and feel empowered to overcome your difficulties. I find it helpful to keep therapy structured and regularly use tools and handouts to help individuals clarify their struggles, redirect thoughts, and hone-in on areas of improvement. I also find it beneficial to share my own experiences and the techniques that have helped me along the way in my journey.

Most weeds (negative thoughts) will compete within their environment for nourishment (attention). When left unattended, they can consume your garden (mind), limit creativity and halt growth. When nurtured, the seed (thought) the weed grew from, has the ability to propel into full bloom (stability), eliminating the undesirable state it once was. I am a passionate licensed professional counselor and have worked in private practice and agency settings for more than 20 years. I provide therapeutic support to couples, families, individual adults and children/adolescents.
