I enjoy working with clients who want to co-create a space that provides many possibilities and the ability to generate the kind of change that is most desirable for each client’s unique needs. I am not the expert on your life, but I am an expert on the process of therapy and how we can work together to see what goals and needs may emerge. Clients who often feel misunderstood or would like to figure out their place in the world are highly welcome, with that said I enjoy working with everyone and look forward to hearing from you.

Life can be difficult, and sometimes we just need support. It’s my job to support you while you take the important steps to improve your life. I believe everyone has the right to feel safe and in control of their lives. We all need to feel connected, understood and validated. Your experiences and perspectives are an important part of who you are. Trauma, stress, depression and anxiety often changes our thinking patterns causing us to feel stuck and hopeless. Being able to reframe your problems can offer different solutions.

I assist clients discover hope and navigate toward healthy goals for body, mind, emotion and soul. My belief is that each person's family environment, early experiences, and past and current social environments play an important role in the development of your personality and perspectives on life. However, these things do not have to define your future. Through a collaborative and trustful therapeutic relationship, every person can overcome past/current struggles and move toward healthy life goals. My special interest is working with adults who want to change their alcohol/drug use and with those who struggle with their relationship with food--such as tending to binge eat, to use food as a way to self-soothe or as a punishment or reward. I've learned to accept some things & change others by understanding that life is what I CHOOSE IT TO BE! My current goal is to help you diminish suicidal thoughts, express yourself more effectively, and manage your moods. I want you to be "ok" and even better than ok!
