I work with young adult and adult populations and can help provide support in addressing multiple stressors whether it is substance abuse, navigating early substance abuse recovery, starting college, relationship conflict, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image issues, and many more.

I provide counseling for adults and children who are experiencing persistent sadness, a sense of low worth/esteem, anxiety/worry, panic, heightened sense of stress, frequent irritability, survival/trauma responses due to past trauma experiences, and are affected in important areas of life. Phoenix Moon Healing is a group counseling office owned by Bethany Luna, M.S., LMFT-S. Our Mission is to provide safety, empathy, and reflections through counseling services, yoga, groups, retreats, and coaching to support clients’ personal empowerment and healing. I believe the counseling process empowers people and I consider myself a guest in the client's world. Using an integration of Humanistic and CBT approaches, emphasis is on the client’s process of self-discovery through direct experience. Thus giving the client the freedom to look within and then exercise freewill for change to occur.

As a relationally trained therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and families by focusing on the full context of their lives. I especially enjoy working with teenagers and their families and have a passion for helping clients heal from trauma. Pitts Davis has been in practice in Lubbock since 1985. He was with Crossroads Samaritan Counseling Center for 13 years and has been in private practice since 1998. Pitts works with adults helping deal with depression and anxiety as well as personality disorders. Trauma is another area that impairs a person's functioning, so Pitts offers BrainSpotting Therapy. He also works with couples to help improve their relationships. In particular, Pitts has become very familiar with Mindfulness Meditation and incorporates that practice into his work with clients. He has also trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

I am so tired of this pattern that I am in. I go round and round and do not get anywhere. It has caused so much pain in my life. I am tired of it! There has to be more! There is more, and I can show you. I want to give insight into what is happening and what to do about the issue. I am not going to sugarcoat it. It is work because if you want to change, YOU have to change. I genuinely want to see people living as the masterpieces that God has created them to be, and I don’t give up easily.
