I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is devoted to creating a supportive space for each client in their healing journey with warmth, empathy, and unconditional acceptance. I work with all ages but have increasingly developed a passion for working with young children, teens, and young adults over the past 5 years as a child therapist in various rural, non-profit, and school-based settings.

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Art Therapy from Whitecliffe College in Auckland, New Zealand in 2015 following my Bachelor’s education at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. My clinical experience began in 2012 as a student therapist working with youth on the Autism Spectrum. This work soon developed into working with individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages facing a wide variety of challenges across public and private healthcare settings.

Ashley Jesse is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who is devoted to helping children and adults struggling with Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and Grief to create and maintain healthy coping patterns and find a sense of relief from painful symptoms. She has over seventeen years of experience in settings including community mental health and non-profit agencies and received her Master of Arts degree in Psychological Counseling from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA in 2006.

It is normal to have challenges in life, and there should be no stigma attached to asking for help. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my goal is to listen and gently help guide individuals through any turbulent situations that they are currently experiencing or that are unsettled from the past. I believe that challenges offer individuals an opportunity to learn more about themselves, an opportunity to become more authentic, and an opportunity to become more grounded. I am a certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDR Consultant-In-Training.

I am a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is originally from Riverside, California. I moved to Austin, Texas over 5 years ago, solo, on a whim. Once I relocated to a cute countryside home in the outskirts of Seguin, I joined InMindOut providing therapy services to individuals.  I received my bachelor’s as well as master’s degree in social work at San Diego State University in San Diego California.

I'm EMDR-trained, and my clients and I often find that locating “stuck points” in one’s past can help improve life in the present. Working with me may include mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), parts work, and expressive therapies with an emphasis on noticing what our bodies and emotions may be trying to tell our thoughts.
