I have particular experience in grief, death, and dying (I've done lots of hospice work); coping with life-threatening illness (I am a cancer survivor), anxiety, depression, and disorders involving delusion and mania.
Why do people go to therapy? Most often, it is because we are in a crisis of some kind. Although we all find crises painful, they are also opportunities for growth. In fact growth does not occur without discomfort, maybe even pain. Without that challenge, we will not grow. But we must also have support. That’s where therapy comes in. Through support and challenge, something new emerges. We don’t just get through. We grow. We come out the other side greater than we were.

I believe every test is a gift that can facilitate clarity and growth - based on my own life experiences and those of clients I work with.
I join clients on their personal and professional journeys and support them in leveling up their lives! As a hybrid life coach and therapist, I offer support on achieving outcomes (such as "I want to find my mission in life" or "I want to feel really happy and energetic" or "I'm ready to open/level up my business") and I work with clients who are truly ready for growth! The bonus outcomes - my clients report increased self-confidence, clarity on life and purpose, assertiveness, increased joy, better relationships, and as a result they take bold steps into their authentic selves and write their own stories.

Silence that inner critic preventing you from living the life you deserve once and for all.
Currently on maternity leave through January 2025. You're wondering where you go from here. The negative thoughts in your head are so loud. Anxiety and stress feel like a regular part of your life and you don’t know how to break the cycle of negative thoughts and actions. Minimizing your experience, you think, “I don’t have it that bad,” but you can’t shake it off any longer. The more you push your feelings down, the more they bubble up in other ways. Feeling isolated, stretched too thin, and overwhelmed you’ve finally made it here to look for support. Simply wishing things are different is not enough.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
