I have worked in a psychological research lab, clinical neuropsychology practice, dual diagnosis treatment centers, a behavioral health hospital and private practice. Additionally, I studied various spiritual practices relative to healing trauma.

I have worked in private practice, university clinics, and hospital settings across the country including Lucille Packard Children's Stanford and Texas Children's Hospital. I have over 20 years experience working with kids, teens, and adults with a wide range of mental health and behavioral conditions. Including kids with ADHD, Autism, Learning DIsabilities, and Grief. I specialize in working with women with Post Partum Depression, Adoption, and Infertility, couples, and family counseling. I completed training with Bo's Place. I was awarded graduate fellowship in Distress Screening from Yale University .

My ideal client is someone who is a teen or adult and is struggling with a mood disorder, identity discovery, and relationship issues. Their needs lie in guidance on psychoeducation, building boundaries within themselves and with others, processing any trauma-related problems, and navigating relationships. Their goals would be to manage their mood disorder to where it is not interfering with life, confidence in themselves when setting boundaries and knowing who they are, and becoming more comfortable with discussing difficult thoughts and emotions.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor at The Menninger Clinic. I strive to help others live a happy, healthy, successful life and cope when it can get difficult. I have the most experience with teenagers, but I love working with young adults and families. My previous experiences include the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, and Crisis Intervention of Houston. Currently, I volunteer as a support group facilitator at Bo's Place.
